Day 113 (of 189) woe be day one one three

Well, I hoped that the unified Family Day holiday was going to disrupt this pattern, but we have entered an unexpectedly (though less so because of reminders like this) tough time of the education season…

I’ve written on this before:

And sure not all were precisely day 113, but close…too close to be a coincidence? Causation or correlation?

And 2014 had my early “rant” around anxiety/mental wellness so it must’ve been on my mind…

There is something to the uptake in office visits, emails, phone calls from stakeholders and partner groups with significant letters (usually in capitals). And a good reminder that when things go up, gotta respond by getting low and staying calmer.

So – it’s not you, it’s day 113. Take an extra walk. Treat yourself to a flat white. Listen to some favourite music (not shuffle, you’re sure to get double rick rolled on day 113… in fact, I was tempted to have the link to this blog go straight to Rick… so you’ve been warned about following a link with some stronger language on education via the Foo Fighters…

Stay calm and educate on! Even on the days around 113…
