On the first day of learning my teacher gave to me: the support to take risks

On the second day of learning my CEA gave to me: the encouragement to keep doing what I do 

On the third day of learning my PAC gave to me: the reminder of the important of building capacity

On the fourth day of learning my teacher-candidates gave to me:

On the fifth day of learning my secretary gave to me: support for doing work “differently” (I still get weird looks when people come into my office and look for the desk….)

On the sixth day of learning my music teacher gave to me: the ability to encourage districts to see value in supporting music

On the seventh day of learning my abed department gave to me: the reminders to be mindful of cultural awareness

On the eighth day of learning my Senior Learning Team gave to me: the support to ask tough questions

On the ninth day of learning my PLN gave to me: the courage to do a tedx

On the tenth day of learning my counsellor (and other itinerant workers) gave to me: a reminder of the importance of mindfulness

On the eleventh day of learning my librarian gave to me: oh, yeah, I’m the librarian….I’ve been trying to activate a coding mindset! Coding K-12 –
