Day 80 (of 183) sometimes “don’t panic” is a good choice

Day 80 (of 183) sometimes “don’t panic” is a good choice

It’s on the back of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (and a reason why it is a better seller than the Encyclopedia Galactica as well as because it is slightly cheaper)

For instance when we occasionally have to “switch prep days” sometimes people worry (sometimes they panic). Especially if (when) they have shared classrooms and one person may “miss out”. Sometimes it’s good to just be patient. Wait. See how things work out.

Time can be a great healer. Sometimes we need to vent

“Wait time” is an invaluable tool within classrooms – but it is also just as useful in the broader school setting – both with students (I either wait of them to calm down or wait for them to be ready to share their stories) and with adults – sometimes people just need to be listened to because they already have the ‘right’ answer.

But at the end of the day…..don’t panic!
