Day 75 (of 184) where we are, where we were, where we are going

At todays school district admin meeting (all the principal and vice principals meeting with central staff) we had a chance to read an article about the All Blacks and their culture:

It’s always a tricky balance to have one eye on the past (and acknowledge the Giants on whose shoulders we stand on) one on the present and one on the future we are heading to…..or futureS we are heading towards. 
My takeaway was


But the best part was that everyone had their own perspective of what a key takeaway was (ranging from single words like “caring” to phrases like “exceptional results demand exceptional circumstances”). There were/are no singular right answers and many journeys to go from where we were to where we are going. 

The phrase I made up spur of the moment: even the thinnest of magazines may help make a table level. We all have roles to enhance our organizations and environments and they all matter. And I am really looking forward to seeing where our journey leads us!
