Day 180 (of 188) trying to keep fire in a paper bag

Day 180 (of 188) trying to keep fire in a paper bag

Can you keep a secret?

Don’t tell anyone but……

Job & interview seasons are very interesting. Some candidates don’t want it known that they are seeking other opportunities. Some are okay with it. But nobody ever makes a grand pronouncement because statistically the odds are against any one candidate.

But when the whispers start it can get very exciting. And sometimes secrets aren’t secret for long. I helped two friends “improve/change” their roles & responsibilities. It has been hard keeping it secret and cautiously pronouncing excitement & support for them as they make significant changes in their educational journeys.

When big changes are afoot, it’s hard to keep exciting news secret – like trying to keep fire in a paperbag!

Good luck to those taking risks – be proud of what you are undertaking!
