Day 146 (of 188) the mindset of a teaching principal

It is sometimes (always) hard to explain how the mindset of a teaching principal works – but tonight I had a colleague explain it very well (as we were discussing proposed reductions to admin time in our district)

No matter what – it’s always 80-20

If you’re in the classroom there s always about 20% of you thinking about what’s happening at the office and when you’re doing work connected to the office part of you is always  thinking about the learning going on in ‘our’ classroom.

Good to have a multi-tasking mindset!
