Day 136 (of 188) Monday the 13th

Day 136 (of 188) Monday the 13th

During the morning announcements I teased that many (like Garfield) fear mo day the 13th more than Friday the 13th…….. Little did I know…..

The lineup to the office was steady……but today is my teaching day.

No surprises on the TOC callout list……until two had to go home sick.

Had a great video clip to look at earths seasons…..but my iPad mini connection didn’t work (MacBook laptop worked at least).

In fact – there were some highlights that can be easy to overlook on a busy day:

-one geniushour project ‘levelled up’ as one of my students rode his bull for 8 seconds!

-another geniushour group thinks it’s ready to take its pony paradise to a local market and sell them!

-a friend gave me a shoutout on #kinderchat thanking me for a book I surprised her with

-getting good retweets happening on a self directed learning open house being hosted by one of our district secondary schools

But in the meantime I took my daughter to a neighbouring district to talk about their trip to China (and inspire their trip next year) and when I went to get a treat for dinner, realized I left my wallet on the kitchen counter.

Just another Monday the 13th in the life of a BC principal. And at least I found a wifi signal to post this blog!
