A view on leaders which connected to me with Walter Isaacssons book “The Innovators” look at the start of Intel:
“What Grove did not realize at the time, but came to understand later, was that effective management need not always come from having one strong leader. It can come from having the right combination of different talents at the top. Like a metallic alloy, if you get the right mix of elements the result can be strong.”
Excerpt From: Isaacson, Walter. “The Innovators: How a Group of Inventors, Hackers, Geniuses and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution.”
Essentially: know your strengths; celebrate the strengths of others & leader doesn’t need to be “A” person!
