Day 48 (of 188) one eye on the future, one on the past
All good things must come to an end, and I was saddened when I first saw:
But it was a reminder that ‘all good things must come to an end’. It also illustrates how to easy it is to be nostalgic – harder to remember that “the good old days”……weren’t.
I recently heard (again) from a voice on the radio complaining about increased taxes to pay for technology when “they used paper and pencils and turned out fine”… but the world has changed so much…and again, the good old days of rote learning….
Yet appropriate to keep an eye on our past and where we came from/how we got here on a day where my learning community has its Remembrance Day Assembly
– and we mindfully thank those that worked to make our country what it is…
And at the same time this week we “finish” our face-to-face and survey opportunities to provide our district with thoughts and information to guide how we move forward to “what might be” as we blend curriculum and technology to even better support student Learning.
It is indeed a magical world. Keep exploring.
