Day 19 (of 188) goals

Day 19 (of 188) goals

Each year we are asked to submit our goals to our superintendent. I find it a good activity as it forces me to give a rethink to everything I’m doing and try to “narrow the focus”. While many like to keep their goals a tad more private, one of the things I am trying to do via my twitter and this blog is to “open the gates” and show what is going on “behind the scenes”. As such, my goals are focused on:

1. Communicating Student Learning (instead of reporting student achievement) via ePortfolios

2. Raising awareness of Anxiety within learners and how educators and parents can “help” as part of a team

3. Continue to encourage ‘technologization’ – using mobile technology to enhance learning opportunities

…and our district template/methodology for planning:

Next to increase my PLN of support to accomplish my goals!
