iPads day 25 – spreading

Today we saw the sphere of influence from our school start to spread on 3 levels:

Within the school the ‘early adopters’ and those gaining the greatest confidence in using the iPads are being asked to share ‘how to do things’ beyond just using them with the teachers; wanting to make better use of them in their own instruction.

Another school was seeking our advice on the integration of tablets into schools: curious if they ought to; if they are ready to etc. I of course liken the readiness for bringing in technology to the right time to get married or have a child….

As our district was talking about ways to engage teachers into the technology directions, I was thrilled that a teacher from our staff was willing to share out her experiences working with tablet technology. It’s nice to have some homegrown expertise!

Next we’ll be seeing how our iPads Re going to influence our winter concert!!
