iPads day 20

Today’s challenge came in the form of a teacher who was sick today but needed her class to start on a research assignment that she had set up on her iPad through Keynote.
Not a problem though – she came in early, set up her dayplan anddropped off her iPad so we were able to share the introduction of the ‘Christmas Around The World’ keynote with her class. Then I got thinking…
We might be able to do this easier: Instead of coming in (never fun when sick) – and when we get our wifi set up- it would not be difficult to share our information through a cloud account. I know some would say ‘no- duh’ and I regularly start an project on my phone and carry on working on my iPad or laptop – but creating a common ‘sharing library’ would allow day plans et al to be shared and the building if a collection of lessons/activities. I used to o a good job creating a library of ‘shared USB drives’ that did just this – but the cloud would allow greater collaboration. Could allow greater collaboration… I think that the synching that the iPads are capable of can make it easier to network – it’ll just take some practice (and wifi at our school)!

Now I have a goal to work on with one of my co-teachers! This feels like a good thing to be geeking out over!
